The main concept behind this kitchen design was to harmoniously blend modern elements and equipment into the historical context. Equally important was incorporating sustainable design principles, which are represented by Electrolux products and reflect the core values of DesignNature.
The choice of materials was key, prioritizing both durability and timelessness, along with ecological benefits. A standout feature of the interior is the materiality of the build-in cabinetry. Subtly resembling classic terrazzo, it’s fabricated from recycled consumer packaging – similarly as the top of the large communal table, which serves as the centre of the dining area. The functional and timeless wooden shelving that connects the kitchen to the dining area subtly yet unmistakably echoes the manor’s original antique furniture.
